Open source CRM add-ons
Forms Bridge is licensed under the GPLv2 license and committed to open-source values. As part of our open-source mission, one of our goals at Forms Bridge is to prioritize support for open-source platforms and services, regardless of their market share or user base. This includes platforms like Listmonk (an open-source newsletter and mailing list manager), Odoo and Dolibarr (open-source ERPs), Zulip and Rocket.Chat (open team collaboration tools), and more.
Now is the time to release new add-ons to support two of the leading open-source CRMs in the market: SuiteCRM and Vtiger.
With these new add-ons, Forms Bridge can connect WordPress forms to their APIs, bridging your website to your CRM and creating a pipeline to convert all your web visitors into leads and opportunities.
Both Vtiger and SuiteCRM offer HTTP APIs for integration with external systems, such as WordPress. However, these APIs are non-standard REST APIs and require significant boilerplate for each request to match their endpoint interfaces and to authenticate connections. Both APIs resemble JSON based SOAP APIs more than REST. While it was possible to connect your WordPress forms using the abstract REST API add-on before, these new add-ons simplify the process by handling all the complex work for you, providing a seamless integration for both CRMs.
Google Calendar
The new Google Calendar add-on allows you to build booking forms in WordPress integrated seamlessly with your Google calendars. Using the Bearer credentials, Forms Bridge is able to perform access requests to the Google OAuth servers and authenticate its API calls. The new add-on take advantage of this feature and enables the integration of WordPress forms with a new Google service, its calendars. Take a look to our tutorial about how to how to set up a new OAuth client on Google Search Console to get more info about the configuration process.
